Riot Games announced the MVP for the regular season of the 2021 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Split. It was Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu of DWG KIA who collected 164 points in the votes.
Canyon is the ace of DWG KIA who won the World Championship last year. As the spring split’s jungle meta was focused on scaling champions, Canyon’s ability to carry was always the best. He was ranked 1st in most of the stats. Another big advantage Canyon has is that his champion pool cannot be stopped through bans.
The voting was done by 40 casters, analysts, observers, and media. More than half of the voters picked Canyon as 1st place and almost all of them put Canyon near the top. His teammate Heo “ShowMaker” Su ranked 2nd with 105 points and Hanwha Life Esports mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon ranked 3rd with 98 points.
The remaining LCK Awards are the All-LCK Pro Team and the Finals MVP. The All-LCK Pro Team will be announced on April 6, and the Finals MVP will be awarded after the finals.
