Day 25 of the 2021 LCK Spring split has come to an end. As many have anticipated, T1 and DWG KIA took dominating 2-0 victories against their respective opponents.
In game 1 of the T1 vs NS RedForce series, T1 was able to get an early lead, but stumbled in the mid game. NS seemed like they had an opportunity to come back into the game, but T1 proved to be superior through key teamfight victories.
Game 2 was also about the Lucian-Lillia, mid/jungle duo. Lee “Clozer” Ju-hyeon’s Lucian’s presence was everywhere around the map, and he was the key member of T1 getting an early lead. With a whopping three level lead between the two mid laners at one point of the game, NS were not able to find footing to come back. T1 closed out the series with a quick 2-0, and will ride the high momentum against DWG KIA in their next match.
Game 1 between DWG KIA and Liiv SANDBOX was a tougher game than many anticipated. The match was 44 minutes long, as the mid laner for LSB, Lee “FATE” Su-hyeok, was the one that kept his team in the game. LSB were even able to get the Baron Nashor and the Elder dragon soul. However, towards the end of game 1, Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun’s Kai’Sa was the saving grace for DK, as he was able to make a play that saved his team from defeat.
Game 2 went in a similar fashion as game 1. LSB had a sizable gold lead around the 20 minute mark. However, DK slowly started to catch up to LSB, and before anyone knew, DK was able to take the Baron Nashor for themselves. In the end, with a pentakill by Ghost, DK took the series 2-0.
