On Nov. 24th, Hanwha Life Esports announced the acquisition of Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon. With this

acquisition, they managed to bring in two former DRX members, alongside Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu, and filled their vacant mid lane position with one of the hottest FA’s in the scene.

Chovy debuted in 2017 under KeG Gwangju, and under Griffin and DRX in the LCK, he rose to be one of the best mid laners in the league. Due to his incredible laning abilities and wide champion pool, many see him as a player that elevates his team through his presence.

HLE managed to acquire one of the most sought after FAs in the scene. With two of the biggest names now under HLE’s belt, it’ll be curious to see if they will be able to perform better than their previous years in the LCK.
