On the afternoon of July 21st, Team Liquid announced a new addition to their team, signing Douglas "Pocket Rhino" Reynolds as their Academy Support. Pocket Rhino is a former collegiate player for Florida State University. He advanced to the 2020 South Conference Quarterfinals earlier this year, but the tournament concluded early due to COVID-19 complications. More recently, he subbed in for Radiance in the Focus Championship Series (a FACEIT tournament in the Scouting Grounds Circuit), finishing third of the eight participating teams. Pocket Rhino is replacing Elijah "Yama" Kim, Team Liquid's former Academy Support, who has been released from the roster. Yama came onto the roster in the break between the League Championship Series Spring and Summer Splits, replacing Johnson "Cao" Cao. Yama and Team Liquid Academy have had a rough Summer so far, going 2-10 throughout the first six weeks of play. Team Liquid has not announced any other roster change.
