Leena Xu, President of esports organization TSM, faces controversy after screenshots from the team's Discord were used in a video by Duncan "Thorin" Shields. In one screenshot, Xu claims to have attempted to approach many players from Europe on behalf of TSM, and that the players she approached were under contract at the time of her reaching out. Inven Global has confirmed with a source close to the situation that organizations across the globe often go unpunished for the ways in which they circumnavigate certain rules when seeking to sign a player.

In order to uphold competitive integrity, Riot Games has implemented a stream delay in their broadcasts. However, in Game 1 of the LCL Finals between Unicorns of Love and RoX, one of the streams didn't have a full three minute delay, and was instead casted live in English. On Tuesday morning, Riot Game's take on the FPS genre, Valorant, entered closed beta globally and, while many were able to begin playing, many others were riddled with error messages that prevented them from even logging into the game successfully. Numerous error codes began flooding social media platforms and the game's official subReddit shortly after the closed beta was turned on. The most common, Error 43, allows players to launch the beta client but didn't allow them to get into the main menu or do anything else. While others can be fixed by reinstalling the game, rebooting their client or restarting their computer, Error 43 is one that Riot is working to tackle internally as thousands of individuals who were given access to the closed beta are struggling to play the game they've been waiting for months to try out.
VALORANT is about carefully sneaking around a small map waiting for a brief but explosive moment of action and danger. Players die within seconds and "abilities" are just extra perks that ultimately enhance vicious and precise gunplay. Winston mains are going to have a very rough time hopping over to VALORANT.
