In yet another off-season change from Team Liquid, Academy Jungler, Shernfire, was released from the org on May 15th. He played with the team only one Split, starting off on the main TL roster during Broxah's visa delay, and then switching to Academy upon his arrival mid-season. Read more on his story here:

After a rocky early start to his career followed by him leaving the LCS and taking a break for a couple years, Rami "Inori" Charagh returned to professional League of Legends, winning his first split
After a dominating second half of the split, Cloud9 Academy climbed through the 2020 League of LCS Academy League Spring Playoffs and beat out Evil Geniuses Academy in a clean 3-0 sweep to take the title. Read more on their victory here:

With the end of Week 8 for LCS Academy, the Dignitas and Evil Geniuses Academy rosters have qualified for the playoffs, each with a 10-6 record. They join Cloud9, who has locked in first seed, with three slots left to be claimed. Read more here:

Golden Guardians have decided to promote huhi to their main roster for the League of Legends Championship Series this weekend in hopes to "improve the team's communication," likely in an effort to push to playoffs. After an incredible start followed by a harsh recoil, Dignitas has swapped their League of Legends Championship Series starting jungler, Grig, for Academy jungler, Akaadian. Dignitas Academy team looked nearly invincible early in the split, but have also faltered recently. Read more on the change here:
Solo has joined FlyQuest as an assistant coach and reserve for their Academy team. Solo was most recently on Echo Fox, which left Solo without a team this off-season. He joins former coaches from his original LCS team, Clutch Gaming. Read more here:
