UPDATE 4/24: It was assumed that Gwen, the newest champion to join the League of Legends roster, would be disabled at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational due to how recently she was released, but another has joined the Hallowed Seamstress on the disabled list for the tournament. Viego has been disabled for the entirety of the 2021 LEC season, and now, the Ruined King will also be out of commission for MSI 2021.
This is the fourth time Rekkles has won the award, the most of any player in the history of competitive European League of Legends.
UPDATE 3/17: Following its 9th place finish in the 2021 League of Legends European Championship Spring Split, Astralis has decided to continue playing with MagiFelix and has extended his contract throughout the rest of 2021. This also marks the departure of nukeduck, who first joined the organization to play for Origen in the 2019 LEC Spring Split.
The AD carry is slated to make his debut for Vitality in the team's first match in week 4 against Excel Esports on Friday, February 12.
