CoreJJ, the former support for Gen.G Esports, will be now joining Team Liquid, one of the top NA LCS teams. The announcement was made on November 20th 5 PM (PST) via TL's official social media account. CoreJJ was another player whose contract expired on the 17th, although it did not take long for him to find a new home -- Team Liquid. He originally started his pro career as an AD Carry for Bigfile Miracle in the year 2014; although his start may not have been a remarkable one, he gradually moved on to higher accomplishments in the League of Legends premier leagues with Team Dignitas, Samsung Galaxy, KSV eSports, and then Gen.G Esports. During his stay with Samsung Galaxy, he changed his role to support for the sake of their new ADC, Ruler; since then, he has been playing support in other teams as well. With CoreJJ on their roster, Samsung Galaxy has placed 1st in the LCK finals twice, eventually winning at the 2017 League of Legends World Championship after defeating SKT T1.
