Sang-hyun "Jeondding" Jeon attended a dinner held at the Élysée Palace in Paris during President Lee Jae-myung's state visit to France. Jeondding is a Tekken 8 pro gamer playing for Paris-based Team Vitality.

On the 9th, Fabien Devide, co-founder and CEO of Team Vitality, shared, "On the occasion of President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea visiting France, Jeondding, a Korean player on our team, had the honor of attending the dinner at the Élysée Palace." He described the dinner as "a gathering of French and Korean citizens contributing to strengthening bilateral relations in their respective fields."

CEO Devide stated, "I felt immense pride seeing Jeondding represent esports for both France and South Korea in the heart of the Élysée Palace," adding, "His attendance demonstrates the status esports has achieved in France while confirming our responsibility as a leading club." He further added, "The development of esports also comes through institutional and public recognition."

President Lee made a state visit to France from the 6th to the 9th. On the 8th (local time), after holding a summit with President Emmanuel Macron, he attended a state dinner hosted by President Macron. Figures from the South Korean government, business, and cultural sectors were also present at the gathering. This year marks the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and France.

Born in 1991, Sang-hyun Jeon began his professional career in 2017 with UYU. After playing for DH.CNJ, he joined Team Vitality in April 2024 and extended his contract through 2030 in October 2025. He won the North American tournament Community Effort Orlando (CEO) in 2018 and 2023, and captured the title at the Tekken World Tour Master event REV Major in 2022.

Team Vitality is a French esports organization founded in 2013. It operates teams in League of Legends (LEC) and Counter-Strike 2, among others, and reportedly re-established its fighting games division with the recruitment of Sang-hyun Jeon in 2024.
