Nongshim RedForce fell to a 1-2 defeat against kt Rolster in the second round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season at LoL PARK on the 20th, marking their ninth consecutive loss. Despite a strong showing in the recent EWC qualifiers and a prime opportunity to snap their losing streak against a kt Rolster side missing 'Aiming' due to health issues, Nongshim RedForce was unable to secure the win.
The following is the full interview with Nongshim RedForce Head Coach Choi In-kyu and 'Scout' Lee Ye-chan.

Q. Thoughts on the 1-2 loss to kt Rolster?
Head Coach Choi In-kyu: It was a match we had a high chance of winning, so it's disappointing to lose.
'Scout': We made too many mistakes, so we deserved to lose.
Q. 'Lehends' started today.
Head Coach Choi In-kyu: We thought we could carry over the momentum from our EWC qualifier victory. It was a decent performance, but the second set was a bit regrettable.
Q. Why was 'Pleata' subbed in for the third set?
Head Coach Choi In-kyu: It was a pick-ban decision to put more pressure on the bottom lane.
Q. It seems like you play well, but then make reckless decisions?
'Scout': It's a lack of fundamentals. When we do play well, it's usually because the opponent fails to respond.
Q. Any final words?
Head Coach Choi In-kyu: The team will prepare well together and come back stronger.
'Scout': I will keep working hard to improve my form.
