Vici Gaming has announced two additions to the organization for the 2020 season of the LPL. Kim "kkOma" Jeong-gyun, the renowned coach who spent almost seven years at SK Telecom T1 (later branded to T1), is joining Vici as one of its coaches.
The announcement was made on Vici Gaming's Weibo account, where a short video with kkOma saw him walk towards the head office of the team. At Vici Gaming, kkOma wil work together with head coach Loong and second coach Kinte.
Persisitent rumors were finally confirmed as well. Hu “iBoy” Xian-Zhao, previously bot laner at Edward Gaming since 2016, too is making the transfer towards Vici Gaming. People had been speculating about the transfer for a while, and those rumors gained strength when fans claimed to hear iBoy talking in the background during one of his Vici Gaming colleagues.
The acquisition has now been confirmed, as Vici Gaming released a welcome poster for their new bot laner.
