Yoon ‘Justice’ Seok-joon, the sub Mid laner for SANDBOX announced his retirement, and Coach Lim ‘Comet’ Hye-sung and Lee ‘Dragon’ Jun-yong have mutually parted ways with SANDBOX.
On the 25th (KST), SANDBOX Gaming have announced the news of Justice’s retirement, and the mutual parting with Coach Comet and Dragon, via their official Twitter. On the matter of Justice’s retirement, they’ve commented, “Although it’s regretful to see such a talent like Justice retire, he will be meeting fans through his personal stream. Please continue to support him, as he prepares his next challenge.”
Justice first debuted in the LCK in the 2018 Spring split under Jin Air Green Wings. For a while, he and Lee ‘Grace’ Chan-ju have been alternating in the LCK, but since August of that year, he was ultimately exempt from the starting roster. Even after he joined SANDBOX on February of 2019, he was unable to make it into SANDBOX's starting roster, and eventually announced his retirement after 8 months with the team.
Meanwhile, with SANDBOX mutually parting ways with their former Head Coach, Yoo ‘Sally’ Eui-joon, earlier this month, Kang ‘Laden’ Byung-ho has been named interim Head Coach. With Coach Comet and Dragon gone, many will be curious to see who will successfully fill their shoes.
