The second Round Robin for Group B brought great news for European fans as Splyce went 3-0 to start, becoming the first to qualify for the Knockout Round in this Worlds tournament. After winning just one game in their first Round Robin, Splyce would need to turn up big in today's games, and that's just what they did. 

Splyce defeated J Team in their first game and FunPlus Phoenix in their second, which guaranteed them at leasat a tiebreaker to push for the Knockout stage. Then, in their final game, they matched against GAM Esports, who had already been eliminated after dropping both of their games earlier on.

A no-pressure GAM played with much more gusto than previously, but a botched Baron attempt - thanks to a super sneaky ward - slungshot Splyce into the lead, putting them into the driver's seat. From there, they closed it out, and have guaranteed a trip to the knockouts and a tiebreaker for first seed. 

The European "Second Week Buff" is in full effect this Worlds, and Splyce is taking advantage of it, coming back from their 1-2 record. The other advancing team will be decided in the last regular match, between J Team and FPX. Splyce will face the winner for first seed into the Knockout Stage.
