Russian cosplayer power couple Narga and Aoki Lifestream have recreated a nostalgic moment from the Final Fantasy series. Aerith's death is one of the most shocking moments in gaming history, portrayed beautifully by the artists involved.

Narga and Aoki are known for their impeccable World of Warcraft cosplays, being featured in Blizzard's official Cosplay book. This week, she released a series of pictures representing the love between Zack and Aerith, which heartbreakingly enough, never really became true: In FFVII, Aerith refers to Zack as her first boyfriend when she speaks of him to Cloud, however, in the  Japanese version of the game she refers to him as her first crush, suggesting she never had the chance to share these feelings. You can cry now.
