Series Overview
The ROX Tigers reasserted their dominance by defeating EDG 3-1 and thus becoming the third and last Korean team to secure a semifinal spot at Worlds 2016. After taking two games in a row with Kuro's magnificent performance on Aurelion Sol, ROX reached into their bag of tricks in Game 3 to end the series with style - Smeb's fabled Fiora. While this offmeta pick was swiftly shut down by Deft's solid Caitlyn play, ROX was even quicker in bouncing back. Knowing exactly when to commit and when to disengage, ROX used their bottom lane advantage to take down EDG and end the series.
MVP
Peanut. The vast skill gap between Peanut and Clearlove proved to be fatal for EDG; snowballing jungle dominance to an easy victory is virtually second nature for the Tigers. Although his Lee Sin play in Game 3 was riddled with mechanical errors, Peanut redeemed himself in the very next game on Olaf, nailing EDG's coffin shut with an 11-0-5 massacre.
