Series Overview
Samsung Galaxy breezed past Cloud9 in the first quarterfinal match of the 2016 League of Legends World Championship to secure a spot in the semifinals. Even with their decent drafts and bursts of inspired play, Cloud9 were unable to consistently answer Samsung's superiority in coordination and mechanics. Samsung seems to be growing stronger week after week, and both H2K and ANX have good reason to be concerned ahead of time.
MVP
CuVee. Even Impact was no match for the ever-hungry Samsung Galaxy toplaner. Over the course of the series, CuVee repeatedly broke open tense games all by himself, whether it be through solo kills in lane or shrewd decisions in teamfights. His showings on Ekko and Poppy in Game 1 and 3 respectively were absolutely dominant and deserve particular recognition.
