SK Telecom T1 has decided to part ways with coaches PoohManDu and Bengi.
On the 26th of November (KST), SKT announced that they have acquired Mata and a new coach, Kim “Fly” Sang-cheol. At the same time, they also announced that they have parted ways with Lee “PoohManDu” Jeong-hyeon and Bae “Bengi” Seong-ung.
PoohManDu is one of the coaches that has experienced winning Worlds both as a player and a coach. He showed dominance as a support player during 2013 for SKT T1 K and won Worlds, and won the 2016 World Championship as SKT’s coach.
Bengi is one of the most decorated junglers in League of Legends history. He is a three-time world champion and has won many other major championships as SKT’s jungler. After his third championship, he moved to Vici Gaming during 2017 and returned to SKT as a coach.
According to SKT, PoohManDu will be looking for a new team to continue his coaching career, and Bengi will be taking a break prior to his military service.
