Contrary to popular belief, Faker will remain with SK Telecom T1 for the upcoming season.

On the 20th, through their official SNS, SK Telecom T1 announced that they have renewed their contract with Faker.

After announcing that Bang, Wolf, and 5 others have parted ways with them, SKT followed up with an announcement that Faker has renewed his contract. Faker's run with the team has gone on since 2013, and with this deal, he will continue to play for them going forward. According to sources, SKT promised Faker "great treatment" if he re-signed with the team.

Faker became a living legend through his exceptional plays on stage. Known as the "best player in the world," by many, with SK Telecom T1, Faker had won multiple titles including three World Championships. Although he and his team faltered during 2018, many fellow players and fans believe that they will see him at peak performance once again.
