SKT T1 announced through its official Twitter account that Minsung “Rapidstar” Jung will be joining the team as a coach.

One of the most popular gamers in the early days of the Korean League of Legends scene, Rapidstar was a member of CJ Entus Frost (also known as MiG Frost and Azubu Frost) as a midlaner during its prime time. Together with other popular members, Rapidstar placed first in Azubu The Champions Summer 2012 and placed second in the Season 2 World Championship.

After his retirement, he tried out streaming, playing other games, and commentating, until he joined Edward Gaming as a coach where he managed to lead the team to victory in the 2016 LPL Summer Playoffs.
