Summer of 2019: Wow Classic launch date revealed at BlizzCon 2018

During the BlizzCon 2018 Opening Ceremony, one of the most anticipated reveal dates was finally confirmed.

After a joke about "Soon" TM,  John Hight, executive producer and Vice President of World of Warcraft announced that Classic Wow will be released in the Summer of 2019.

Currently, all BlizzCon virtual ticket holders and attendees are able to play a 1-hour demo of World of Warcraft classic -- the way the game was some 14 years ago. Alliance players will quest around Westfall with the Horde demo players questing around the Barrens!

More Vanilla WoW info will be posted as it comes.  Technically, The first day of Summer starts on June 21st, so if Blizzard is true to their word, Classic WoW will be playable sometime after that.
