On the 11th of October, CJ ENM, the operator of OGN, announced that they'll soon be opening an esports stadium/studio that can house a total of 500 spectators in Los Angeles, California, next month. 

The 3,252㎡ studio that is placed in Manhatten Beach, Los Angeles, will be able to host a total of 500 spectators and at most 100 players. It'll be the first esports stadium in North America that'll be able to host a Battle Royale event at max capacity. "Battle Royale" is a survival shooter esports genre that often involves 100 players. One of the most popular games that fall into this category is PLAYER UNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUND (PUBG). The studio will feature a 3-sided LED screen and a 5.1Ch audio surround system, to provide an environment to give the spectators the best possible viewing experience. 

CJ ENM has been selected by Bluehole as its exclusive partner. With that said, the first project that'll take place is the 'National PUBG League' (NPL). The NPL will be the official professional league of PUBG.
