On the 20th of August, Misfits has officially announced their plans to open a state of the art gaming facility in bustling west Berlin.

To entice Misfits fans and gamers to come to the grand opening, Misfits has put up a challenge to "throw down" in their five-player showdown stadium. They have planned playing hosts vs streamers, pro-players, special events, and much more.

Jake Kuhn, Misfits Gaming's VP of Operations, has said, "With the Misfits Arena, we're aiming to create a gathering ground for gamers, offering them an experience resembling a truly competitive environment. We believe Misfits has some of the most talented professional gamers as well as entertainers and we plan to share a bit of our family's expertise with our fans through creative experiences at the Arena.".

On an ending note, Patrick Wittke, esports Consultants, said "Once we found the shop opportunity and developed the project it became totally clear that we should introduce it to Misfits first. In our opinion it is time that an esports shop opens in Berlin; in our eyes, it's Europe's capital of Esports.".

The grand opening of the Misfits Arena, based in Berlin, is scheduled to be in September.
