Fissure benched by Gladiators, purportedly unable to cooperate with team

EDIT: Around 10:20 PM on July 11th,  known Overwatch freelance reporter @tisrobin311 provided the following statement from Fissure's stream:

▲ This statement Fissure denounces the rumor that he was unable to cooperate.  Instead, explaining his benching was simply what he thought was best for the team.

The Los Angeles Gladiators announced on Wednesday that Chan-Hyung “Fissure” Baek will not be competing in the team’s first match of the Overwatch League inaugural season playoffs. The team’s cryptic press release, posted to their Twitter, stated that he was benched because “the most effective practice and preparation is necessary in order to perform well in playoffs” and that Luis “iRemiix” Figueroa gives the team their best chance at success.

Avid Overwatch League viewers were understandably puzzled by this announcement, given that Fissure is largely regarded as the catalyst behind the Gladiators’ stunning victories and season playoffs qualification. However, sources close to the team claim that the main tank was benched due to his inability to cooperate with teammates and, at times, refusal to play.

Esports pundit Rod “Slasher” Breslau later tweeted that Fissure was “unhappy with players on the team not trying hard enough in preparation for playoffs and stopped communicating in [their] scrims,” prompting the Gladiators to substitute iRemiix.

For now, the Gladiators' announcement says only that Fissure will be absent for one match of the playoffs, and it is unclear if his punishment could be extended to future matches.
