ADC Gu “Imp” Seung-bin has left LGD Gaming and joined Team WE.
Rumor had it that Imp would be returning to the LCK, but he joined Team WE. Imp was negotiating with an LCK team, but they weren’t able to agree on terms.
As a result, Imp joined Team WE. “I wanted to do my best again in a new place.” Said Imp, “While I was searching for a new team, Team WE asked me to join, and after I met them, I thought they were really good people so I decided to join them.”
Imp also left a message to the fans who wanted to see him in the LCK. “If I return to the LCK, it would be after I deliver good results in foreign leagues. The results I had aren’t completely satisfying and there were several problems too. I’m sorry for not being able to return now.”
As RNG won the championship at MSI 2018, Imp spoke of the different status of the LPL. “There are many good teams and players in China. I will return to the mindset of when I first started and do my best.”
