On May 17th, a new pet Young Red Dragon and new field boss Katsvariak were added in Black Desert Online KR. Also, World Bosses will now spawn according to a fixed schedule. Along with the schedule change, World Bosses now have lower HP and DP, and will give items regardless of the amount of damage a player has dealt. World Bosses can now be looted when they despawn, but in this case only the players who dealt more than a certain amount of damage will be able to loot them.
The Young Red Dragon is obtainable by turning in Garmoth’s Horn, which is one of the rewards from World boss Garmoth, to NPC Garison in Duvencrune.
You will get a random type of Young Red Dragon among the following five types: Desert Disease Resistance, Detect Hostile Players, Auto-Fishing Time Decrease, Aggravate Monsters, and Detect Elite Monsters. The Young Red Dragon’s pet skill is max HP increase, and it will give more max HP as its tier goes up. The additional max HP is 25 in Tier 1, 50 in Tier 2, 75 in Tier 3, and 100 in Tier 100. You cannot summon more than one Young Red Dragon at once.
The base tier of a Young Red Dragon is 1, and you can upgrade the dragon pet’s tier by breeding it with another Young Red Dragon. You cannot breed a Young Red Dragon with a Wizard Gosphy. The Young Red Dragon can be registered at the Marketplace, and the max and min prices are 0.3 billion and 0.1 billion silver, respectively.
Also, as teased in last week’s KR patch notes, World Bosses now spawn based on a fixed schedule. World Bosses will spawn 5 times a day. They spawn at 2:30, 11:00, 16:00, 20:00, and 23:30. Offin and Garmoth, which used to be weekly world bosses, will spawn on 23:30 every other day except for Sunday. Lastly, Muraka and Quint will spawn at 20:00 on every Saturday.
Except for at 2:30 and 23:30, two world bosses will appear at the same time. Make sure you know which world boss spawns when, so you don’t miss your favorite world boss!
As world bosses now spawn at fixed times, Nouver and Mirumok Destroyer Offin will now spawn immediately after the notification message.

Also, some world bosses are now easier to kill. The HP of Mirumok Destroyer Offin, Watcher Offin Tett, and Offin’s Root has decreased by 50%, and their DP has decreased by 20%. Offin Tett’s barrier has 60% less HP now, so killing Offin should be much easier now.
The HP of Garmoth, the world boss in Drieghan, has decreased by 30%, and the HP of the statues that have to be destroyed while Garmoth is flying has decreased by 50%. Also, the HP of Muraka and Quint has decreased by 40%.
You do not have to deal more than a certain amount of damage to loot world bosses anymore. If you attack the world boss at least once, you will be able to loot. You can loot them even when they despawn, but in this case you will have to deal more than a certain amount of damage.
Offin and Garmoth will despawn when they are not killed within 15 minutes. Kzarka, Nouver, Karanda, and Kutum will despawn when they are inactive for more than 30 minutes or their HP does not drop below 70% in 15 minutes.
As of today’s update, the drop rate for Garmoth’s Horn and Garmoth’s Heart has increased by x30. Also, you have a small chance of obtaining Caphras Stone Bundles from Garmoth. The bundle will contain 50 to 100 Caphras Stones.

Quint will drop 7 to 20 Mutant Enhancers instead of 1 to 5, and 5 Hunter’s Seals have been added in the reward bundles for Red Nose, Bheg, Dim Tree Spirit, and Giant Mudster.
Lastly, the new field boss Katsvariak has been added. Katsvariak is a field boss that spawns in Tshira Ruins, Drieghan. It will spawn in random servers (about 10 servers), except for Olvia, Arsha, and Patrigio.
The rewards for the new field boss include Pupil of the Ruin Ring and Set Magic Crystal - Gervish/Makalod/Hum.
