The official launch date of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) has been confirmed to be December 20th at The Game Awards 2017.

PUBG confirmed the official launch date by showing the gameplay trailer with its new map Miramar at The Game Awards stage. A game preview of the Xbox version will be done on December 12th, and the official launch of the PC version will be December 20th.

Meanwhile, Miramar, the new map, features an environment that is extremely different from that of Erangel, the main stage of PUBG thus far. The Battle Royale will commence in a bleak desert instead of a thick forest and will require players to come up with different strategies. Players can check out the map on the test server on December 8th.
