Rockstar Games has confirmed that the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI), composed by French electronic duo Justice, will be released on December 11th.

According to the announcement on the Rockstar Newswire, Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score will come out on all major music streaming services as well as on CD and vinyl. The album has 30 tracks, plus a number of digital bonus tracks included across all formats. CD and vinyl pre-orders are open now, among them a limited Triple Crystal Clear vinyl edition.

The album lands three weeks after the game itself. GTA VI is due on November 19th for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

A new single with Gesaffelstein

Justice released a new single from the score, "Pusher" feat. Gesaffelstein, on the same day as the announcement. The album also includes "Flower in a Hurricane", which features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That track made its debut in the GTA VI launch trailer on October 15th, when Rockstar also restated the game's November 19th release date on X (formerly Twitter). Fans can stream the new single and pre-save the full album now through the links in Rockstar's post.

How the score fits into GTA VI

Justice is made up of Grammy Award winners Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Rockstar described the work as an adaptive score, with compositions "dynamically tuned to the different ways players engage with the world of Vice City and Leonida" during the story of the game's two protagonists, Jason and Lucia. According to the announcement, the duo brought "their signature sound" to the project.

The score is separate from the game's licensed music. Rockstar pointed fans to the Music section of the official GTA VI website, which carries previews of some of the in-game radio stations along with featured singles from a second record, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
