LPL first seed Anyone's Legend (AL), who was eliminated from the 2026 LoL World Championship (Worlds) without securing a single win, has issued an apology to their fans.

AL suffered a swift elimination from the tournament with a 0-4 record, losing to KC in their first match, TES in their next, and 0-2 against Team Liquid in their final series. Given the high expectations following a standout full-set thriller against T1 at last year's Worlds and a consistently strong form this year that saw them take the LPL #1 seed over BLG, their winless elimination came as an even bigger shock.
Following their winless elimination, AL opened their statement on official social media by stating, "AL's journey at the 2026 World Championship has come to an end with our defeat in the Swiss Stage. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who supported AL. We are deeply sorry."
They continued, "An apology cannot change the results of our matches. Nor can it take back the late hours fans spent cheering for us. We do not want to make the excuse that we gave it our all, nor do we want to sugarcoat this defeat as motivation for growth. We are truly disappointed and sorry that we could not advance further or repay our fans' support. We failed to bring more victories to the LPL, and we are grateful to all the fans who visited the venue in person, watched through their screens, and cheered for AL until the very last moment. We will humbly accept all sincere criticism. When spring returns, we will make a fresh start with an improved form."
