Funcom will release Conan Exiles Enhanced and Aloft on PlayStation 5 (PS5) in early 2027, with the Enhanced version of Conan Exiles free for anyone who already owns the game on PlayStation.
Funcom confirmed both launches in a PlayStation Blog post published on October 27th, which PlayStation also shared on X (formerly Twitter). Release dates have not been set yet. "We'll share release dates and more details for both games at a later date," wrote Jarle Hrafn Grindhaug, Communications Manager at Funcom. Both games can already be wishlisted on the PlayStation Store. The post came shortly after Funcom launched Dune: Awakening on PS5, its open-world survival MMO set on Arrakis.
What changes in Conan Exiles Enhanced
Conan Exiles will be sold on both PS4 and PS5, and buying one version unlocks the other at no extra cost. According to the announcement, all Bazaar items and DLC bought on PS4 will carry over to PS5. The Enhanced edition brings improved environments, characters, lighting and effects, along with a redesigned UI and performance and quality-of-life fixes.
Funcom said the update also makes moving between the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah expansion smoother, though Isle of Siptah stays a separate purchase. The console launch will include the new Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc from day one, in which players explore the forgotten legacy of the ancient Giant-Kings.
Aloft makes its console debut
Aloft is a co-op sandbox survival game set among floating islands, made by studio Astrolabe and published on console by Funcom. Players turn islands into skyships, build homes in the clouds and explore alone or with friends. Grindhaug wrote that the game has been in development for six years, with a team that "grew from a small group of friends to the Astrolabe of today."
The PS5 release will include every update from the game's Early Access period on PC, as well as the full 1.0 version. Since Early Access began, Astrolabe has shipped five major content updates adding new wildlife, puzzles, combat changes, glider customisation and wider exploration.
