Micronics is introducing six new power supply models that expand consumer choices with support for new standards and high-efficiency power delivery performance.
Micronics (CEO: Kang Hyun-min), a company specializing in gaming gear design, development, and manufacturing, has launched the Micronics Classic II EV 80PLUS Gold ATX3.1 and Micronics Classic II EV 80PLUS Gold Full Modular ATX3.1 power supply series featuring enhanced high efficiency and power delivery stability.
The new lineup was planned to boost the competitiveness of Classic II Gold-rated power supplies and help buyers choose options optimized for their system build environment. It adopts the latest ATX 3.1 standard and categorizes cable design types and power output capacities to improve building convenience. The lineup consists of six models in total: three non-modular Classic II EV 80PLUS Gold ATX3.1 models (650W, 750W, and 850W) and three Classic II EV 80PLUS Gold Full Modular ATX3.1 models (750W, 850W, and 1000W) designed for easier assembly and cable management.
In terms of power efficiency and quiet operation, the lineup has earned 80PLUS Gold certification (115V basis) and passed verification by Cybenetics, a global certification authority. The Full Modular 850W model achieved an ETA Platinum power efficiency rating (115V basis) and a LAMBDA A- noise level rating in Cybenetics testing, while proving standard compatibility with an ATX 3.1 PASS certification. For graphics card power delivery, the 750W and 850W models as well as all full-modular models feature PCIe 5.1-based 12V-2x6 connectors alongside 16AWG cables that meet 105°C heat-resistance standards. They utilize green two-tone connectors that allow users to visually check connection status, and the non-modular 750W and 850W models apply lock 12V-2x6 connectors to enhance latching security.

Durability and safety features have also been extensively incorporated. The units are equipped with Taiwanese 105°C capacitors and apply 2nd-generation GPU-VR technology along with DC to DC circuitry to maintain uniform +12V voltage even under heavy load conditions. Cooling is handled by a 120mm HDB (Hydraulic Dynamic Bearing) fan, while the full-modular models include Zero Fan mode, which stops fan rotation below 50°C, and the After Cooling system, which dissipates residual heat even after power is turned off. In addition, safety is secured through an eight-fold protection circuit—including NLO, SIP, OVP, UVP, OPP, OTP, OCP, and SCP—with a warranty provided for 7 years on non-modular models and 10 years on full-modular models.
Along with the release of the new products, a triple-benefit promotion will run for buyers of all six models from October 23 to December 31, 2026. Writing a photo review at the retailer awards a Naver Pay 5,000 won voucher, and posting an additional review on SNS or IT communities adds another Naver Pay 5,000 won voucher for a total of 10,000 won. Furthermore, three best review writers will be selected each week to receive an additional Naver Pay 30,000 won voucher, providing up to 40,000 won worth of benefits per person.
Park Jung-soo, President of Micronics, said, “The Classic II EV GOLD series enhances the competitiveness of the Classic II lineup based on high Gold-grade efficiency and stable power delivery performance. Through various power output capacities and cable configurations, we have ensured that consumers can choose products tailored to their system characteristics and usage environment.”
