NewGem Studio announced on October 23 that it has added Halloween content and new Relic content to TBH: Task Bar Hero. The Halloween-exclusive dungeon will be available until November 11.
According to NewGem Studio, TBH: Task Bar Hero recorded a peak concurrent player count of 540,000 and reached 2nd place in peak concurrent players within two weeks of its Steam launch last May. The game offers content including 3 Acts, 4 difficulty levels, over 50 types of monsters, and over 500 types of items.
The newly introduced 'Relic Chests' and 'Relics' can be obtained in the 'Plaguelands' and 'Corrupted Act Boss' regions. The types and number of equipable 'Relics' vary depending on which 'Relic Chest' is used. For Halloween content, Halloween skins have been added alongside a limited-time exclusive dungeon.
Quality-of-life features for existing content have also been improved. An option to lock recipes has been added to 'Cube Synthesis,' and in 'Plaguelands,' players can now check the bonus drop rate figures for high-grade items based on difficulty. Achievements related to 'Plaguelands' have also been added, while 'Material Stash' will be released as DLC.
TBH: Task Bar Hero is an idle RPG where pixel characters automatically hunt on top of the Windows taskbar. Players can continue playing while performing other tasks with the game open in the taskbar.
