Behaviour Interactive has shown Art the Clown from the Terrifier films in Dead by Daylight for the first time, ahead of a Player Test Build (PTB) on October 27th.
The official Dead by Daylight account shared the teaser on X (formerly Twitter) with a short caption: "He's burning to meet you. PTB 27.10.26." The image shows Art in his black-and-white clown outfit and small top hat, grinning as he points a lit blowtorch at the viewer, with the Dead by Daylight and Damien Leone's Terrifier logos underneath.
Some players asked whether the date meant October 26th or 27th. The account replied to one of them: "We can confirm PTB is on October 27th! 🖤" The post did not say when the Chapter will go live for all players, and Behaviour did not share any details of Art's power or perks.
Where Terrifier fits in Dead by Daylight's plans
Dead by Daylight first revealed the crossover in June with a post reading "Dead by Daylight x Terrifier. November 2026." The October 27th PTB was already listed on the game's October of Horror roadmap, which Behaviour posted at the start of the month, though the roadmap did not name the content being tested.
The PTB is an optional test version of the game that lets players try new Killers, Survivors and changes before they reach the live servers. The same roadmap also lists a Twitch Rivals livestream on October 30th and the start of the game's November Days event on the same day.
