On October 21, Smilegate rolled out a major content update for LORDNINE, the MMORPG developed by NX3 Games, featuring top-tier hunting ground "Erbanok" and new equipment "Orb," alongside a variety of celebratory events.
Smilegate applied a large-scale update introducing new combat regions and equipment items to the NX3 Games-developed MMORPG LORDNINE on October 21. Through this update, top-tier field hunting ground "Erbanok" and top-tier dungeon hunting ground "Primordial Abyss Floor 2" have officially opened.
In the new field hunting ground "Erbanok," players can farm the new equipment item "Orb" by hunting monsters. Notably, defeating the boss monster "Barkain," who appears once a week in this zone, guarantees a Mythic-grade equipment drop at a 100% rate. The newly opened "Primordial Abyss Floor 2" is a dungeon accessible only by obtaining a dedicated teleport scroll from hunting monsters on "Primordial Abyss Floor 1." Players who successfully enter can earn higher EXP and "Orb" items as rewards. While it follows the same rules as existing conflict zones, the "Revenge" feature is restricted in this dungeon.
The newly introduced equipment "Orb" offers distinct utility depending on its grade. Common and Uncommon "Orbs" serve as awakening materials without providing skill effects, but Rare-grade Orbs and above grant random additional specialized skill effects. Specifically, Rare-grade and higher Orbs activate passive skills, while equipping certain Legendary-grade or higher "Orbs" enables active skills. Players can collect complete "Orbs" or "Orb Fragments" through hunting grounds, guild content, and awakening boss raids. They can also assemble multiple "Orb Fragments" to craft a full "Orb" and equip it like standard gear.
On October 23, the new server "Hakan" will open, accompanied by generous celebratory events for players across all servers. First, an "Attendance Event" running until November 18 rewards players with guaranteed Epic-grade Artifact Summon Tickets and up to 460 various summon tickets. Completing the "Growth Support Mission Event," which runs during the same period until November 18, yields an additional guaranteed Epic-grade Artifact Summon Ticket alongside up to 230 summon tickets.
Furthermore, the "Ancient Script Fragment Item Codex Event" using "Ancient Script Fragments" dropped by field monsters will run through November 18. Players can register the acquired event items in the Codex or use them in crafting to exchange for various reward items in the Exchange Shop. Additionally, through the long-term "Level Achievement Shop Event" running until February 17 next year, players who reach required Mastery levels can spend Gold at the in-shop "Level Achievement" exchange to purchase Artifact Summon Tickets and "Starlight Artifact Summon Tickets," which offer a chance at items up to Legendary grade.
