In the world of Azur Promilia, where diverse creatures and races coexist, cultures and lifestyles vary widely. Among them are races familiar to players that closely resemble humanity. Known in Azur Promilia as the "Race of Wisdom," they build cities and establish nations while developing their own distinct cultures.
Han Youyou, a Fire-attribute Amplifier character featured in the domestic CBT, is a girl of the Race of Wisdom born in Jinghua, a major city in the Chinese-inspired Realm of Jing. Though pressured by her family from a young age to master classical poetry, calligraphy, etiquette, and music, the optimistic and confident Han Youyou ran away from home to wander the world in search of ancient treasures. She possesses a skill where she uses the grappling hook from her runaway days to leap into the air and throw a barrage of bombs, and her abilities primarily revolve around explosions, such as an Ultimate that fires a massive volley of fireworks.
Lily, an apprentice knight from the Western fantasy-styled Logia Empire, is another member of the Race of Wisdom featured in the CBT. Embarking on a journey to become a true knight, Lily is a bright and optimistic girl who, even when covered in dirt, simply brushes it off, laughs, and takes up her spear and shield to resume training.
Another race similar to humans is the Noble race, though little detailed information has been revealed as no characters other than Chiyo—who appeared exclusively in the first Chinese CBT—have been shown. Furthermore, since even Chiyo did not appear in the second CBT, more details are expected to be unveiled as the character roster expands in the future.

Meanwhile, alongside Beastkin and Avians, Azur Promilia features the Dragonkin, who possess the power of dragons. Abby, who was playable in the domestic CBT, is a prime example. Abby is a small and cute young Dragonkin girl, almost reminiscent of a Pammy, with a simple and pure personality. Fitting for a Dragonkin in the Water-attribute Rupture role, she can unleash a ferocious stream of water to deal massive damage to enemies, but she herself is only interested in delicious food. This setting is reflected in her Ultimate animation, where she can be seen blasting high-pressure streams of water only after eating a chicken leg.
