VALOFE (331520) will kick off the closed beta test (CBT) for AVA RE:BIRTH on October 1 at 4 p.m. and expand the participant scale from 2,000 to 5,000. Cumulative pre-registrations surpassed 50,000 on September 28.
AVA RE:BIRTH is a spin-off game independently developed by VALOFE after securing the license for the Alliance of Valiant Arms (AVA) IP owned by Neowiz. Building on the core content and gameplay of the original AVA, it incorporates new modes and balance adjustments.
VALOFE launched the game's website and official community in August, and began pre-registration alongside a character name pre-reservation event on September 24. CBT applicants exceeded the original target of 2,000 by the morning of September 29, the recruitment deadline. Consequently, VALOFE increased the number of participants to 5,000 so that more players can experience the game prior to its official release. Pre-registration was conducted primarily through dedicated platforms VFUN and Pmang.
The original AVA recorded approximately 3 million cumulative players and over 100 billion won (10 billion yen) in total revenue in Japan. An X post highlighting the player with the highest record during the original service accumulated 6.5 million views.
This CBT will run from October 1 to 7 across key overseas service regions centered on Japan, excluding South Korea, Taiwan, and China. Participants will be able to experience exclusive content titled "HUNTING FIELD," which reinterprets extraction shooter elements based on AVA, along with various gameplay updates.
VALOFE plans to incorporate user feedback gathered during the test into its preparations for the official launch.
