Arc System Works Asia Co., Ltd. released the Korean digital version of FURYU's action RPG Trinity Trigger for Nintendo Switch 2 on the 1st. The new version features increased resolution and frame rates, alongside 18 additional DLC items.
This edition adapts the Korean version released in January 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 for Nintendo Switch 2. It includes four additional scenarios for Cyan, Elise, Zantis, and Violet; Sword, Bow, and Axe weapon sets; shard, item, and material sets; and "Father's Legacy," among other content.
Trinity Trigger is set in Trinitia, a world where the weapons of the gods pierce the ground like towers. Protagonist Cyan embarks on a journey alongside mysterious creatures known as Triggers to change his harsh fate, joining forces with Elise and Zantis to confront destiny.
The game revolves around battle, field exploration, and discovery in towns. In combat, players must switch among eight weapon types and playable characters depending on the situation, finding weapons that match enemy weaknesses. Fields feature hidden passages and puzzle elements, while conversations with townsfolk provide clues to advance the adventure.
It also supports local multiplayer for up to three players, with each controlling a character. Voice audio is provided in Japanese, while subtitles are available in Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
