Developed by Manjuu Games and slated for domestic publishing by Nexon, 'Azur Promilia' is an open-world RPG set in 'Promilia,' a world where various races and creatures live together in harmony. Players become a 'Starbounder' who has descended upon this realm to quell impending chaos and embark on a journey to stabilize the world. Following a sage's prophecy, the elf Symphoria and the fairy Lumi set out to meet the Starbounder first and guide them to the elf village, but an unexpected anomaly forces an emergency landing, kicking off the grand adventure.
As players begin their adventure, the first races they encounter are the 'Beastkin' and 'Avians'. The Beastkin are a humanoid race possessing traits of land animals, while the Avians possess characteristics of birds, residing mainly around Sharuru Village and Gustfall, respectively. 'Terara', who brings the crash-landed Starbounder to Sharuru Village, is a wolf Beastkin and a hunter from the village. As a Fire-element Burst role character, she frequently charges boldly at enemies while brandishing a spear infused with explosive fiery energy.
'Luruka', who assists the Starbounder alongside Terara, is a shaman from Sharuru Village who, despite her young age, demonstrates a gift for not only summoning animal spirits but also communicating with ancestral spirits. Driven by a desire to help people and Kibos, she self-taught medicine and pharmacology, creating special remedies that are highly effective despite their peculiar taste. Matching these traits, she appears as a Water-element Amplify role character, specializing in combat support by summoning spirit bodies to weaken enemies or heal allies.
Another ally, 'Kataru', belongs to the Sharuru Village militia and trains tirelessly every day to be recognized as a warrior of the Curved Horn Clan. Unlike his rough, sturdy appearance, he has a gentle, tender personality and is easily frightened, but in times of crisis, he serves as a shield to protect everyone.
After getting familiar with the geography and situation in the Beastkin village, the Starbounder heads to Gustfall, an Avian village facing similar troubles. There, they first encounter the Avian archer 'Miti'. Although her strong competitive spirit initially causes some friction with the party, the Starbounder's group realizes that she simply hides her kind heart and willingness to help others, welcoming her naturally to continue their cooperation.

While the Beastkin and Avians mostly live gathered around their respective villages, some live in other regions for their own reasons. Cathbelle, a former slave who became a maid at Lord Fleiss's mansion, is one such example. Due to her dark past, she shows little emotional variation, but she demonstrates a quiet strength, silently standing by the side of the precious person who saved her and building trust. She flawlessly performs all duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing—with cooking being the sole exception.
Another Beastkin living in Fleiss Castle Town is 'Anis', a nurse at Calnon Sanatorium. With her accepting and gentle demeanor, she is affectionately called an older sister or mother by everyone. However, if someone complains about not wanting to take their medicine, she reveals a surprising side by forcing them to take it with a smiling face.
Additionally, 'Maple', a cat Beastkin recently revealed in a promotional video, is another Beastkin residing in Fleiss Castle Town. As a receptionist at the Adventurers' Guild, Maple is immensely popular among visitors thanks to her boundless energy, cuteness, and sharp memory. She is also well-versed in grooming techniques, bonding with Kibos while taking care of their fur.
