Korean indie developer Kniv Studio announced on the 30th that a new demo for idle RPG 'Traymon World: Taskbar Monster RPG' has been released on Steam. The game was co-developed by Kniv Studio and OFFtheREAL.
In 'Traymon World', tiny monsters embark on adventures with the taskbar as their stage. They automatically explore and battle across various regions in the corner of the screen. Meanwhile, players decide how they and their monsters will grow and build the ultimate party.
There are 60 types of monsters in total, each with distinct traits and unique active skills. Featuring a synergy system based on elements, affinities, and roles, assembling the right team offers rich tactical fun. Thanks to skill progression trees, even the same monster can be raised completely differently. Players craft and dismantle equipment to optimize their loadouts, and can also freely trade monsters and items on the Steam Community Market.
'Traymon World' supports seven languages—including Korean, English, French, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese—and is playable on Windows and macOS. The official release date has yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, Kniv Studio is a Korean indie developer that previously released the SRPG 'STARDUST: Wish of Witch' last May. Following that, the studio has been steadily developing its upcoming titles, including the new roguelike 'High Roller Penny' and 'Traymon World: Taskbar Monster RPG'.
