505 Games and indie developer ION LANDS have officially launched the cyberpunk life simulation game Nivalis Nights on PC via Steam. Since its initial reveal in 2021, the game has accumulated over 1 million Steam wishlists.
Nivalis Nights is set in a retrofuturistic world created by the developers of Cloudpunk. Set in the ocean-built city of Nivalis, players can run businesses, build relationships with residents, and craft a life of their own.
Players can start their business from a humble noodle stand and expand into restaurants and nightclubs. They can also source ingredients from markets, farm them directly, or fish for supplies to serve food to customers.
The city can be explored on foot, via public transportation, by taxi, or with personal boats. Players can explore city squares, alleyways, and canals, find fishing spots, and acquire a home to decorate to their liking.
The game also features interactions with the residents of Nivalis, where players can listen to their stories, make friends and regular customers, or even cultivate romantic relationships. The developers designed the game so players can structure their day choosing freely between business management, exploration, and socializing.
An Epic Games Store version of Nivalis Nights is also planned for a later release, with specific details to be announced in the future.
