'Pareidolia,' developed by Nexon Games' team led by Kim Yong-ha, has released a slew of in-game videos to coincide with TGS 2026.
The revealed videos consist of story cutscenes that give a feel for the game's overall atmosphere, combat staging, and character interactions. In the first video, viewers can see 'Pareidolia' characters fleeing from anomalous phenomena as well as a combat scene featuring Shami and Ohana. The second video showcases combat action between Minie and Shami, followed by dialogue choices and interaction mechanics, which serve as crucial elements in character-driven games.
Notably, given Head of Division Kim Yong-ha's background in developing titles like 'FOCUS on YOU,' the lively and dynamic presentation of character interactions stands out as a key highlight. Players can interact with collected characters to build affection and unlock various events.
Meanwhile, the release date for 'Pareidolia,' which shared new information during TGS 2026, remains unannounced. Previously, Producer Cha Min-seo, who is co-leading development alongside Head of Division Kim Yong-ha, stated in an interview, "We are thrilled to present 'Pareidolia' on the TGS stage," adding, "We promise to do our utmost so that the alternate world and Mates in 'Pareidolia' feel tangible to players, and we will continue to showcase our ongoing development."
