Nexon has confirmed the pre-registration schedule for TEMPPAL: OVERGEARED, a major new MMORPG under development by Gray Games, taking its first step toward an official release within the year.
Nexon (Co-CEOs Dae-hyun Kang and Jung-wook Kim) announced that pre-registration for TEMPPAL: OVERGEARED, a new MMORPG developed by Gray Games (CEO Byung-chun Choi), will officially open on October 1 at 10:00 AM. The pre-registration will take place simultaneously across major channels, including the official pre-registration page, Kakao, Google Play, and the App Store. Players who complete pre-registration will receive various rewards useful for gameplay after the official service launch.
Along with the pre-registration news, a full cinematic video following the perspective of the weapon 'Sword' was released on the official YouTube channel. The video realistically captures high-octane battles against giant monsters, differentiated combat centered on equipment, and the appeal of a vivid world. In addition, Episode 1 of 'TEMPPAL: OVERTALK', a podcast-style video series, will be released alongside the start of pre-registration. 'TEMPPAL: OVERTALK' will detail core systems that enhance the fun of equipment-centric progression and its features as a competitive MMORPG, with subsequent episodes released sequentially.
TEMPPAL: OVERGEARED is a major title based on Overgeared, a popular IP that has proven its strong hit power in global markets. The original IP achieved a record 1.3 billion cumulative views across KakaoPage web novels and webtoons, ranked No. 1 on the Asian web novel platform Wuxiaworld, accumulated 85.28 million likes on the Japanese platform Piccoma, and won the Piccoma Award 2023. Published by Nexon, the game is scheduled to launch within the year as a PC and mobile cross-platform title in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
