Neverness to Everness, the supernatural urban open-world RPG developed by Perfect World's Hotta Studio, drew widespread attention during its Version 1.4 special broadcast on September 16, revealing a new region, two new characters, and half-anniversary events marking five months since launch.
The centerpiece of the Version 1.4 update is Puka Paradise, a massive theme park occupying an entire island styled like a giant amusement park. In this new region, players can enjoy a variety of minigames and rides, with thrilling attractions like a Haunted House alongside overlapping Anomaly incidents delivering a unique experience.
Details about the characters joining the roster were also covered in depth. Set to officially launch on September 30, the S-Rank character Raven worked as a fortune teller at the Witch's House and possesses a fast-cycle trait alongside Chaos-attribute Esper abilities. Later in the second half of Version 1.4, S-Rank character Akane Rin, a band member working part-time at the StarSign live house, will be added. Akane Rin was previously introduced to players in the side story 'First Page of a Legendary Band'.
Alongside the arrival of these new characters, the storyline will also expand. The second half will unlock 'To Us of That Day', a continuation of the side story, featuring a new collaboration song that builds on the emotional weight of the ongoing narrative. In addition, a second Porsche collaboration was confirmed, giving players the opportunity to open Blind Boxes to obtain a new collaboration vehicle.
To commemorate five months since its official launch, Neverness to Everness is offering a wealth of special rewards. Alongside the Season Gift check-in event that accompanies major version updates, special half-anniversary rewards for the Puka Festival have been prepared. Upon logging into the game after completing the Version 1.4 update, players will immediately receive 10 Dice of Truth.
