Pearl Abyss updated the main quest line for 'Edania: Inner' in Black Desert on September 16.
With this update, the storyline of the demon realm 'Edania,' which was first introduced in August 2025, comes to a conclusion. Adventurers can experience the story involving Black Desert's gods—including Agris, Maktanan, Elion, and Aal—through voice-acted cutscenes.
The 'Edania: Inner' main quest line can be undertaken by characters level 60 or higher who have completed all 'Edania: Outer' main quests. Completing the quests rewards 'Agris' Golden Coin', which can be exchanged for Tier 4 items including Advice of Valks (+300, +250), Twilight of the End Earring and Ring, Crystal of Fusion, and Fragment of Nev.
A new Adventure Log has also been added. Adventurers can complete Adventure Logs across a total of seven regions—including the Gate of Arjeli, Aprodon, and Emesia—and earn rewards.
The Event Horizon boss subjugation content, 'Qualification for the Throne: Hadum', was also introduced. Accessible only to adventurers with an Attack Power of 428 and Defense Power of 520 or higher, this high-difficulty content grants successful conquerors the qualification to challenge 'Edana', who oversees the region.
Adventurers who become 'Edana' gain special privileges, such as equipping 'Edana's Crown' on the helmet slot, collecting accumulated local taxes, and activating the Blessing of Edana buff. Boss subjugation rewards include 'Edania: Void Chest', which contains Fragment of Edana, Twilight of the End Selection Box, Spark of Inix, and Crystal of Fusion.
In celebration of the Chuseok holiday, Pearl Abyss is running an event through October 7. By acquiring specified event items through in-game activities such as hunting, fishing, gathering, and farming, players are automatically entered into a raffle for holiday gift sets containing Hanwoo beef, tuna, and fruit sets.
During the same period, a Hot Time event will also take place, offering a 1,000% boost to Combat EXP, 400% to Skill EXP, and 100% to Life and Mount EXP.
