H2 Interactive announced that the Korean edition of the side-scrolling beat 'em up game 'Ninja Baseball League Man - Bases Loaded' will launch on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 10. Pre-orders for physical packages began on the 15th.
'Ninja Baseball League Man - Bases Loaded' is an HD remake of 'Ninja Baseball Bat Man', originally released by Irem in 1993. NADA participated in development, and the game is jointly released through a collaboration between City Connection and Irem. It features new characters, modes, stages, rearranged music, and simplified controls.
In this title, Pink, who was a support character in the original game, joins the playable lineup alongside Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue. Up to four players can enjoy local co-op play.
The main mode, 'Regular Season', rearranges the original game's layout for widescreen displays. In the high-difficulty 'Climax Season' mode, players can experience altered enemy placements, new combinations, and new stages. High-score competition is also supported through standalone mini-games such as the home run derby and car chase.
The soundtrack has been newly arranged by composer Yosuke Yasui, known for 'YO-KAI Disco'. Players can toggle between the original soundtrack and the arranged music while playing.
The game will be released digitally as well as in physical packages for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The physical Nintendo Switch 2 package will be provided on a game card rather than a key card. Alongside the standard edition, a limited edition featuring a soundtrack CD, a reprint of the original Korean design document, and a retro-style instruction manual will also be offered.
