On the 15th, Apex Legends officially teased a collaboration with Street Fighter 6 via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
A short seven-second video uploaded to the official channel caught players' attention with Street Fighter 6's signature spray effects and command input visual sequences. Which specific character skins or outfits will be brought to Apex Legends through this collaboration currently remains unconfirmed.
Previously, Apex Legends collaborated with the popular anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, successfully introducing outfits themed after main characters David and Lucy. Consequently, expectations are mounting among fans that skins for iconic Street Fighter characters like Ryu and Chun-Li will be added to the game.
Meanwhile, Street Fighter 6—which announced this collaboration with Apex Legends—is also continuing an active update cycle. Ahead of the release of new character Arjun on October 13, the game is also set to feature popular character Tifa via a crossover with Final Fantasy VII in 2027.
