'Fareidolia,' the next title from the developers of 'Blue Archive,' will host its first public playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026), held at Makuhari Messe in Japan from September 17 to 21. NEXON Games has been sequentially revealing details about the world and characters through its official X account.

'Fareidolia' is set in 'Anima City,' a town located in a world remarkably similar to Earth. Players assume the role of the director of the Anima City Revitalization Center while also serving as the manager of 'Tasogare Hall,' the center's office. At Tasogare Hall, players live alongside girls with extraordinary abilities known as 'Mates,' working together to solve various problems that arise across Anima City.

'Minieh' is an explorer living for the 'ultimate adventure.' Coming from an Explorers Guild, she possesses rich knowledge that rivals any expert. She is usually cheerful and laid-back, but her only flaw is that she quickly gets carried away whenever the topic of adventure comes up.

'Ohana' is a girl who calls herself a 'genius all-rounder.' Her perpetually expressionless face exudes a somewhat mysterious aura. She is a genius who displays extraordinary talent no matter what task she is given, but she wastes that talent on pranks and simple fun.

'Shami' is a cat-eared girl who is always short on money. Due to a constitution that naturally attracts bad luck, there is never a quiet day for her, and spending all her money on warding charms leaves her perpetually broke. Although she claims she is too busy making a living to afford dreaming, she never misses watching idol broadcasts.

'Elevator Girl' is a mysterious girl responsible for operating the elevator in Tasogare Hall.
