H2 Interactive announced that the physical Korean edition of the Japanese-style action RPG 'Muramasa: Revenant Blades' will officially launch on February 4, 2027. The target platforms are PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with pre-orders for the physical edition starting on the 11th.
'Muramasa: Revenant Blades' is the definitive edition of 'Muramasa', developed by Vanillaware and Marvelous. It includes the previously released paid DLC 'Genroku Legends', preserving the original game systems while upgrading graphics for current-generation platforms.
Set in the Genroku era teeming with monsters and spirits, the game follows six protagonists with distinct backgrounds and goals. Each story is independently structured, allowing players to explore a Japanese-style world while experiencing swordplay action and additional content.
In combat, various "Secret Arts"—including powerful single strikes, wide-area attacks, and long-range attacks—can be activated with a single button. Repeated standard attacks trigger continuous combos, while combining dashes and jumps enables seamless combat on both land and in the air. Defensive actions such as parrying enemy attacks or deflecting long-range projectiles are also supported.
Players can forge swords imbued with new Secret Arts at the Forge, learn skills through Training, or craft Charms that bestow effects on their appearance and weapons. Forging and upgrading swords require "Souls" collected from enemies during adventures. Acquired Secret Arts can be assigned to three ground and three aerial slots, with repeated use enhancing their proficiency and effectiveness.
In addition, travel content such as hot springs, restaurants, fishing, and palanquin travel is included. The game also features a Compendium to view illustrations, character motions, and backgrounds, as well as a Memories feature to rewatch past event scenes.
