Arc System Works Asia announced on the 11th the release schedule for "Zohar," the new DLC character for the 2D fighting game "UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes."
Zohar will be playable starting at 10:00 AM on the 16th on PS4, PS5, and Steam. The Nintendo Switch version will add the character at 10:00 AM on the 24th. The character is not included in the "UNI2 Season Pass," and requires the base game alongside the latest update patch to play.
Zohar is a speed-type infighter who throws opponents off balance in tandem with her doppelganger. She attacks with massive spikes or rapidly closes the distance to strike from behind, utilizing joint attacks and guard breaks. The character is voiced by Aiko Okubo.
According to her official profile, Zohar was a member of "Bankikai" alongside Ogre and Strix. After being consumed by power during the battle against "Amnesia" and wounding her close friend Strix, she changed her name and set out to search for Strix after hearing rumors that she survived.
"UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes" is the series' first numbered entry, featuring a control system that lets players chain combos through simple button inputs, new moves for each character, and revamped visuals. For online play, it supports rollback netcode for the first time in the series.
