H2 Interactive announced that the Korean version of 'Sudden Strike 5', a real-time strategy game developed by Kite Games, will officially launch on PS5 on the 23rd. Pre-orders for the physical edition, 'Sudden Strike 5 - Deluxe Edition', will begin on the 10th.
'Sudden Strike 5' is a real-time strategy game set against the backdrop of the European and North African fronts during World War II. Players can employ various tactics across a campaign consisting of 25 missions and command over 300 types of units.
Combat requires making decisions tailored to the battlefield situation, such as capturing strategic outposts to secure reinforcements or destroying bridges to hinder enemy mobility. The game features over 190 types of tactical equipment and up to 110 types of infantry units, including the Western Allies' 'Sherman' tank, Germany's 'Bf 109' fighter aircraft, and the Soviet Union's 'T-34' tank.
Players can utilize not only frontal attacks led by firepower, but also reconnaissance, sabotage, and flanking maneuvers. It is also possible to weaken enemy strength by capturing and defending key outposts such as field headquarters, supply depots, and train stations.
Players can select commanders that suit their playstyle, including offensive, defensive, and tactical types. Each commander grants unique skills to allied forces, such as creating cover with smoke grenades or increasing artillery accuracy. Expanded camera options allow players to view the entire battlefield as well as detailed frontline situations, while PvP modes with multiple difficulty levels let them test their strategies against other players or AI.
The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, original soundtrack, 83 vehicle camouflage skins, and 2 PvP-exclusive maps.
