Smilegate officially launched its new MMORPG Eclipse: The Awakening (developed by NPIXEL, hereinafter Eclipse) on PC and mobile platforms at 12:00 PM on September 10, kicking off a large-scale celebratory event.
The newly introduced Eclipse was created to deliver the core gameplay fun of MMORPGs while allowing players to enjoy it without pressure, catering to their preferred style and pace. Supporting cross-platform play, the PC version can be downloaded from the official website, while the mobile version is available via Google Play and the Apple App Store. All players who completed pre-registration can receive abundant pre-registration and cumulative milestone rewards—such as a Rare-grade 'Transcendence Summon Ticket' and 'Weapon Appearance Selection Ticket'—in their in-game mailbox.
To celebrate the official service launch, Smilegate is presenting a total of six in-game events. Players can secure various rewards, including Heroic-grade weapons, simply by completing missions. First, the "PD Lee's Surprise Gift" event running until October 31 guarantees a Heroic-grade 'Transcendence' and 'Weapon Appearance' to users who acquire 'Transcendence' and 'Weapon Appearance' 100 times each through the Sanctuary or synthesis. In addition, the eight-week "Path of the Hero" event awards Heroic-grade weapons, 'Transcendence', 'Weapon Appearances', armor, and more in stages based on the number of completed objectives, while the ongoing "Dodor's Daily Attendance Rewards" provides a 'Rare Equipment Blueprint' as the top reward for cumulative attendance.
Furthermore, the "Official Launch Commemorative 7-Day Special Reward" running until September 23 grants a 'Guaranteed Rare Transcendence Ticket' to players who log in for seven days. Also operating are "Special Growth Support for Saviors," which yields growth currency for completing equipment enhancement and item collection tasks, and "PC Cafe Connection Benefits," which awards perks based on cumulative PC cafe play time. Payment benefits are also abundant. Google Play users paying via carrier billing receive a billing discount of 3,000 won per carrier along with cumulative discount benefits; this runs until September 27 for SKT and LG U+, and until September 22 for KT. TOSS Pay payment customers can also enjoy first-payment cashback and TOSS Point accumulation benefits when spending over a certain amount until September 16.
Partnership events are also taking place offline. In collaboration with Daily Beer, Smilegate is offering 'Eclipse Beer' (individual item) and 'Eclipse Sets' at directly operated locations and designated franchise stores nationwide until October 11. Purchasers of the set products will receive an 'In-Game Special Coupon', and players who post coupon verification proof on the Stove community will be entered into a raffle to win brand merchandise.
